Genevieve's 3rd Birthday - March 2007

It's hard to believe Genevieve is already 3. She is 100% fireball and we love her tremendously. For her birthday, she invited all of her friends over to the house for a party. (When she saw the picture of the cake, she remembered, "Owen stuck his finger in my cake daddy.") ***Pictures of Owen to follow.

Genevieve opens one of her birthday presents with best friends Molly and Owen eagerly watching. Genevieve was all "Princessed Out" on her birthday. Christie can count on Genevieve to dress up like a princess on a regular basis, leaving a tornado trail of accessories from her bedroom to the family room.

Can I have a slice? In the picture from lower left around the table to the right are: Claire (Molly's sister), Emma, Gillian, Colin, Genevieve, Hannah (Owen's sister), Molly, and Owen. If you were wondering.....White cake with cream cheese filling and frosting. Yum, yum.

Here's Genevieve posing for her annual birthday picture at the front door of our house. It should be fun to watch her grow up to be a young woman in the years to come.

Getting Together with Friends-February 2007

In February, we visited with the VanNess and Calvi families over at the Stout's house. In this photo, you see Colin with his arm around one of his best friends Jacob. Cameron is putting one of his father's UFC lessons to work by practing the "Rear Naked Choke" on David. It doesn't seem to be working since David is smiling, and Cameron is the one grimmacing. (Time to get back to the DoJo. :-)

Smile Gillian. This was a fun time for us as parents, especially whenever we got the chance to watch Gillian eat. If you look closely, Gillian is missing her two top teeth, as well as one tooth on either side of the two bottom teeth that are just coming in. When Gillian ate, she quickly learned to chew with her mouth closed so everything wouldn't fall out.

Here's Genevieve being silly. She loves the camera and loves seeing the instant display of herself on the back of the camera. Does anybody else have children that scream, "Let me see! Let me see!" after their picture is taken?

Here's Catherine at 5 months. She loved to hang out in her swing and eat Veggie Puffs. She has since graduated to a booster seat at the kitchen table, and enjoys plain Cheerios and goldfish crackers. Love that smile Catie bug!

Angels Camp Vacation 2007

Ok, so this is our first post on the new blog! For now, we just wanted to figure out how things work and post pictures. We will try to get everybody caught up with our family through a collage of pictures from 2007. Hopefully we can try to keep it current every now and then.
